I'm the worst when it comes to staying put in one place for too long. Truth is, the longest I've ever been in a place on my own is probably when I visited South Africa for a full year. There was adventure all over the place though, so I didn't even notice the time passed like it did. Other than that I've been on the move, making my way through the States finally after spending time backpacking through Europe followed by my trip to South Africa. I'm pretty easy going and don't like taking life too seriously at all. If there's fun or adventure, I try to be there because I can never turn away from it.

Since making it to Washington, California, I've fallen in love with the scenery here and am realizing staying in one place might not be so bad. I met an amazing guy and my parents are coming to visit to see what business venture I've dreamed up. Thankfully, I have amazing parents that fronted me the money before coming up to approve it in person, so I'm nervous that they will pull the funds if I don't wow them.

I've grown up a pretty normal life for an Army brat. I moved around quite a bit, which is probably why I love to travel so much. I'm an only child, so once I started to travel, my parents were always on board because they wanted me to experience as much as possible. Plus, I just couldn't imagine myself sitting through even more school trying to go to college. I figured life experiences would be more valuable in the long run.

I've been to probably about half the world already over the last 3 years I've been traveling already. I even found a group of really good friends to pass the time with. It started out with me and a couple of girls and a few guys, but now the other girls dropped out and it's just me and three guys. I love it though because they make sure I'm safe and no one tries to bother me.

I can't wait to travel some more but right now, we found this cute little tiny town that I'm thinking about hanging around for a bit longer than usual. We'll see if I can find stuff to look at in the nature here or not.

OK, who what I kidding? I had to stick around Washington, California! My three friends didn't like it though. Oh well! They can get the hell out of here after what they've done! They're not my friends anymore and I've left them for good. I guess it really doesn't matter about that, because I've met an incredibly great guy named Alex Hopper. He's a biker, but he looks at me as if I'm the only one in the room every time I see him. He definitely makes me feel special.

I went with him to Sturgis: a huge bike rally basically. It was eventful, but after getting back, I finished setting up a cute photography studio here in Washington, right on Main Street! It finally happened! I'm setting down some roots and my parents are wanting to visit. I just hope they like Xander as much as I think they will!

As a matter of fact, the summer was a lot, and not in a good way, but this town will hopefully get my parents' approval as well. I just know that if they don't approve, it's likely the money they fronted me to set up that cute little photography studio may be taken back and then I won't know what to do. I do have one thing on my side and that's I'm an only child and my parents are pretty great and supportive throughout my travels.
