I'm your typical redhead. I can have a temper, but really to the ones I love, I probably the most nurturing person there can be. That's not to say that I won't lose my shit when it's called for though because I will. I'm fairly simple when it comes what I truly care about in my life. It's just really one thing and that's to make sure the ones I love are taken care of, even if it means sacrificing doing something I want. I also tend to not have a filter. I won't lie to you, even if it's something that you really don't want to hear. I want the best for those that I love and if that means I come across as a bitch or as if I'm better than someone else, then so be it. As long as my loved one gets the best.
The early origins of the Drakos family are uncertain but they probably take their name from an early warlord called Poulios Drakos (lit. transl. dragon), who was the progenitor of the family. The original village in which the Drakos family came from was Kamarina-Martanion, which still has families bearing the Drakos surname. After a failed revolt in Epirus, conducted together with Theodoros Bouas-Grivas and Malamos, other Armatoles, the chief branch of the family migrated to Souli where they were hereditary warlords of the Souliotes. Poulios Drakos' descendants remained chieftains of the Souliotes through the following centuries and his descendant Dimos Drakos was a powerful warlord who entered the Russian Army in the run-up to the Orlov Revolt. His son Georgios Drakos was a leading general of the Greek War of Independence in 1821. Georgios' descendants entered the political life of the new Kingdom of Greece and entered into marriage alliances with many other powerful political families like the Botsaris family
Before this though it was rumored that the Drakos family were descendents of Atlantis. Plato told the story of Atlantis around 360 B.C. The founders of Atlantis, he said, were half god and half human. They created a utopian civilization and became a great naval power. Their home was made up of concentric islands separated by wide moats and linked by a canal that penetrated to the center.
Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its 2 principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater). They overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.
Santorini, known since ancient times as Thira, is one of the most famous islands in the world. The fact that you can sit in front of the caldera, enjoy local dishes, a drink or a coffee while gazing at the remarkable beauty of an active volcano is priceless!
The island is actually a group of islands consisting of Thira, Thirassia, Aspronisi, Palea and Nea Kameni in the southernmost part of the Cyclades.
Following the volcanic eruption mentioned earlier in this post, many believe the destruction of Santorini was the inspiration behind the lost continent of Atlantis, which is often described as, a ‘great civilisation disappearing beneath the waves.’
For centuries the Drakos have lived in Santorini. They ruled the island and made friends and enemies. My great great grandfather fell in love with a lowly servant girl, and had a child with her. His father forbade him to have anything to do with her. So in the dead of night he gathered his belongings, the woman he loved, and their child. Boarding a ship in darkness, and fleeing Santorini to live his own life.
Unfortunately his father caught up with him. In the chaos that ensued his beloved was knocked overboard along with their baby. He dove in after them only able to rescue his baby with the rough sea. His father fished him out, and in a rage he attacked his father. In the end his father stood over him with a sword to his throat, and banished him. Saying he was a traitor to his own family. He went to kill the child to punish his child even more, but he was unable to do so as he looked down at the squalling baby laying on the deck of the boat.
The ship sailed on with my grieving great great grandfather, and his son. The ship docked in the Americas, and he left the ship with his son, and made a new life for him in what became the United States of America making a name for themselves here.
As for my mother's side of the family Andreas I know my grandparents came to America when my mother was a toddler. She has no idea or if she had any family from before. Her parents died when she was a teenager while she was at prep school. She knows they came from Greece, and that's it. Her parents had told her she was better off not knowing their history that it could be deadly if she were to look into it so it was better to leave it in the past. She wasn't even for sure if Andreas was her real surname or not. She was curious sure, but after she met my father at the private school in New York they attended, her priorities changed. Marrying him the day after graduation, and starting to have a family of their own. They became bounty hunters working as a team, and became quite legendary as the Drakos Bounty Hunters. They also went on to college and got their teaching degrees. Both of them work as teachers, but my father was disowned from his family when he became a Son of Anarchy soon after graduating from college.
My mother was a big buff of the Greek Goddesses and Gods so us kids were named after them. Starting with me, the oldest, Aite. Astraea was born two years after me. Next came Artemis a year later. After her came Antheia followed by Aphrodite a year later. My parents had settled on Galveston Island shortly after they were married. They raised us on a teacher's salary, as well as bounty hunting money, which sometimes was a lot of money, and other times not that much of a bounty. Which to be honest isn't really a salary it's called a bounty. Mom also comes from old money so she wouldn't have to work if she didn't want to.
Two years after Aphrodite was born my sister Apate was born. Apollo was the next year, and a year after that was Alectrona. My parents waited a couple of years before having Ares and that was after we moved to California. Three years later, the baby boy of the family, Atlas, was born. With him that made ten of us kids. Dad was always getting teased by the Sons about having so many kids, but he just grinned and didn't say anything. For the most part we all got along, but there was the occasional fight or two between us. Which usually got broken up pretty fast.
I was always the one that looked out for my siblings being the oldest. I didn't mind, I actually just stepped right up and did it without being asked to, every time. Sure I had my moments where I didn't want to do anything and just be left alone, and I was, for the most part. Usually when a fight happened where I started it, it was because I felt like I was being pestered by one of my younger siblings. But again, the fights didn't generally last very long.
Living in Galveston, my siblings and I were at the beach the majority of the time. We loved the water and even though I loved to sun bathe, I never quite was able to tan like my siblings. I was fair skinned and I know I was teased by others growing up that I was adopted. I knew that wasn't the case though, my parents were always proud of me and never treated me different from my siblings. Of course, my temper didn't help when I ended up punching a boy in the face when he wouldn't let up on the comments of me most likely being adopted even if it wasn't true. I ended up breaking his nose and knocking out one of his teeth with just one punch. He deserved it though and it shut him up after that, so I didn't care that his mom was furious and was yelling at my mom about it. My mom just yelled right back at her and told her to teach her kid manners and maybe he wouldn't have been beaten up by a girl. I laughed at the comment as I listened to it from the top of the stairs at our house.
It wasn't long after that my sister Tea ended up getting attacked by a Great White Shark. I was only 12 at the time, but Tea was just 6 years old. We had no idea how she ended up so far out but thankfully, she made it back to shore. I'm not sure if she realized that the dolphins actually helped her get there too. I pulled her away from the water and laid her on her back when my sisters and I were trying to wake her up by calling her name. I sent Antheia to get help since none of us had phones at the time. It wasn't until she was in the hospital that she really woke up though.
Not long after that, our parents got jobs as teachers in Stockton, California. Dad transferred to the Stockton SOA charter. We moved next door to the Hart family. Their father was a Son as well. The oldest Hart kid was my age. His name was Brady and I would be lying if I said I played hard to get. I was completely in love with him from day one. My parents loved the Harts as well and helped them out when they could. It seemed like every day that if we weren't around the house, my parents knew that we wre most likely right next door as well, or at least out playing with them.
Brady became pretty much my best friend outside of my own family. When we both were 14, he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. I, of course, said yes. We shared a lot of firsts together and I'm glad we did. My parents weren't even surprised when I said Brady was my boyfriend one day at dinner. It was like they knew already that we were a couple. Brady shocked me when he dropped out of school just a couple years later though. I knew that he was feeling like he needed to make sure his siblings were taken care of. I felt the same way about my siblings, so I ended up understanding quickly why he did. I stayed in school though, barely passing my classes. I really don't think my parents would've allowed me to even try to quit school. Them being teachers, I felt like they'd kill me if I even tried anyway, even if they loved me as much as they did. I also thought that Brady and I would be together forever by this point so I wanted to make sure I could help him as much as I could to make sure he succeeded in life with me.
Graduation came and Brady was right there to cheer my on. I couldn't believe I graduated with how I barely scraped by. School definitely wasn't my forte. But I did it. I graduated and my parents were extremely proud. I went straight into the family's bounty hunting business. It wasn't the steadiest income, but it was income at least. I was also staying with Brady more and more, and he even stayed over at my house as well. My parents trusted him and knew I was responsible enough not to rush getting pregnant.
The following summer, I was going to take a trip to Sturgis with Brady, but that didn't happen like it was planned. Brady's life got turned upside down the day were were supposed to leave. First the news came that his dad was killed in prison, and then his brother Aiden showed up as if he was trying to move hell to get to Brady as fast as possible. That's when the news that his mother was dead and his youngest siblings were in the hospital. My instinct was to just grab Brady's sides. I was on the back of his bike already and he was on in front of me, so I wanted to let him know that I was still there if he needed someone to lean on. The next thing I knew, the president of the charter said they'd postpone heading to Sturgis and we were off to the hospital.
It ended up being a long day there, waiting and wanting good news to emerge. I let Brady do what he needed to do to cope. His sisters were lucky and just had scrapes and bruises, but his brother Bodi was the one that we all were the most worried about since he was in critical condition. That's when the State came to take Brady's siblings. I wanted to beat the shit out of the ones that were there saying they would be back for Bodi and were trying to take the others. Thankfully, the Sons stepped in and put a stop to it.
Still, though, over the years, the State didn't seem like they were going to give up. One day though, a woman came to the door. I was hanging out with Brady as usual, but she seemed different right away. It turned out, she was married into the Sons, but she was a social worker. She really seemed to care about the Harts, so I immediately started to like her. I wasn't thrilled when she suggested Brady transfer to a new charter though. That would mean he'd move away. I wasn't going to let him go without a fight though. We've been together since we were just 14 years old and in all honesty, I looked at myself as his actual wife. We've lived together exclusively since we were 18, no more just staying at each other's houses. Yes, it was mostly because I was helping him with his siblings, which he did get custody of after he lost both of his parents, but I loved him. Whether he looked at me as my husband was left up for debate really. He's never told me he did, but then again, I didn't tell him the way I looked at him either in that way. Too much just happened all at once and I figured it was just common sense.
It turned out after talking with my parents about what Brady was told, they said they heard of the new school opening and were thinking about transferring there. They didn't make the decision to yet, but after hearing that the Harts would be better off transferring there, they made the decision to as well. I couldn't be happier because not only will I have my family with me still, I can still stay with the love of my life and his family without being separated from him.

Logan got out of the shower and wrapped the towel around his waist after he dried his hair. He wiped the foggy mirror with his hand and quickly ran a brush through his short hair. He wasn't too worried about styling it, since he was just going to mess it up anyway after he pulled a shirt over his head.
Instead, he walked out of the bathroom and over to the little dresser where he put what little clothes he could stuff in his saddle bags, an extra pair of pants and a couple of shirts plus some socks. He pulled the towel off of him and dropped it on the floor, not even caring if Angel, who was still asleep in his bed, woke up and saw him in the buff.
