1. You must be 18 years old to join the RPG portion of this site!
   
   
2. All characters must be approved by the admins and added to the official list. Please fill out a character application and post it as a new thread in the category you are applying for. If it is a Prospect application, then the Sons together will discuss it and decide who will sponsor him before it is approved, and will be added to his application. If you wish to apply as a 'Friend' of the club, then it has to be approved by the Sons before you apply or it will not be accepted. The Sons have very few friends that are not Sons.
   
   
3. You should have a site canon character before taking on an original character of your creation, unless there are none left. This is so the core characters get taken. If the ones left available are of the opposite sex and you don't feel comfortable taking them, message an admin.
   
   
4. Slash is allowed, but it must be agreed upon by the users playing the characters.
   
   
5. You should be checking the site every day or every other day, especially if you have characters in active threads.
   
   
6. If you are sick or unable to be here for a few days, either leave an admin a message or post it somewhere that you will be gone. We do have a discord to try to stay informed of as much as possible.
   
   
7. No bashing of other characters or players in the chat or elsewhere. Be respectful of one another and try and get along. Bullying is not tolerated in any way! We are all adults here and should act like mature adults.
   
   
8. Remember that the site is 'Make Believe' and not everything is real. If players wish to play out something according to the plot, every day rules in real life do not have to be applied to it.
   
   
9. The game threads are now only able to be seen by members of the RPG, and they have to be logged in to do so. Reasons why are...
   i. Due to the nature and content of the threads.
   ii. Shows that you are abiding by the rules and checking the site every day.
   iii. You have to be eighteen to join the RPG part, abiding by the rules also.
   
   
10. I really don't want to put a word count on here, but remember some people like longer posts with a minimum of 200 words or more. So if you are RPGing with a person who does, please respect them or they will lose interest. There is no maximum word count. I have been on RPGs where they can be up to 2000 words a post.
    
    
11. This is a PG-13 site in compliance with Proboards rules. That means absolutely no sex is allowed on the board. If you get to that point in a thread, take it to a PM or messenger (not on Proboards). You can also use Google Docs. It's not allowed in the chat either. Again this is due to Proboards rules. It is also in case someone lies about their age and is under age and joins and we don't know. It can happen. Also, the reason it is not allowed in chat is because minors have access to the chat box.

Character Creation:

• Please check the Face Claims before applying for a character! If the person you want to use is being used elsewhere, you must select someone else. The only exception is for twins, as needed. But if you're applying for someone's twin (or triplet or quadruplet or so on), please speak with them first to ok using the same person as the play by. They may have an idea in their head already.
  
  
• Gifs are not required, but are able to be used for avatars and on the characters' applications.
  
  
• When customizing the character's profile, use a square image as the main avatar. It makes the member's page look more uniform. If you need help, send Admin Cindie a message or post on the site's Discord about it and she'll be happy to help resize images to work!
  
  
• When customizing the character's profile, Large Avatar links under the "Personal" tab should be portrait orientation images (the height is larger than the width of the image). It should automatically resize to fit. You may use either a GIF image or a standard image here.
  
  
• When customizing the character's profile, GIF links under the "Personal" tab should be landscape orientation images (the height is smaller than the width of the image). It will automatically resize to fit. Also, using a GIF image is not required here. You may use just a regular image instead.
  
  
• When customizing the character's profile, "Profile Header" can be added to the top of your profile in the grey area. Just link the image you want to use. This is also not required.
