Lorelei and Kirsten's husbands were part of the Denver, Colorado Sons of Anarchy charter. Their husbands were killed in a drug deal gone wrong. They are best friends with Tianna McConnell from high school at the private schools that the Astors attended as well. They were invited to teach at the new Washington High School being built by the Astors and Kevin. The women jumped at the chance to get their kids out of Denver, before their eldest boys turned eighteen and were able to prospect to the club. The club there was more into the outlaw mode and violent. Even their husbands hadn't wanted that for their sons and had planned on transferring. They had been killed though and sometimes they wonder if it had been an inside job. They will never know for sure though, and they were starting new lives on the other side of the mountains.
