aven had been riding for a couple of hours, and it was starting to get dark. Sacramento was just ahead, and she’d have to stop and fill up. Not knowing what the road was the rest of the way from there she wasn’t for sure about going on in the dark. She’d get gas and then find a place to sleep for the night. Get up in the morning and head on to Washington. Something didn’t feel right though, and she just wanted to keep going. She knew better than to do that though. She hadn’t gotten that much sleep lately either. She had to look horrible.
Pulling off of the interstate she pulled into a gas station, and up to the pump. Turning off her bike she took her helmet off, and then got off of her bike. A bit sore as it had been awhile since she had made a trek like this. It had felt great though rolling down the highway with the wind blowing through her hair. She took the nozzle and put it on her bike, put her debit card in, and chose what she wanted, starting to fill her tank wondering where she could find to sleep tonight. She was aware of other bikes there, and could see they were Sons of Anarchy. Bikes were pulling in and out and she realized it was a busy place.
ethro was enjoying the ride with Hendrix. They were coming up on Sacramento heading to Washington where Hendrix’s parents were. Over the past few weeks they had accumulated a lot of miles. If it weren’t for why they were out here it would have been a really awesome time. He knew how much Hendrix was worried about his twin. Hell he was worried himself as he definitely thought of her as his sister. He saw his tank was getting down towards empty, and he motioned to Hendrix that they were definitely going to have to pull off. If they could find the Sons of Anarchy clubhouse here they could crash for the night and get some rest. They’d been riding since sunup this morning.
His stomach was rumbling letting him know he hadn’t eaten for awhile either. When the turn off came, he pulled off heading towards the nearest gas station. Pulling in he parked his bike and shut it off looking over at Hendrix. “That was a helluva ride man.” He grinned as he took his helmet off, and set it on his bike getting off. He stretched out the kinks and groaned slightly. He’d be good as new come morning. Looking around he noticed there were other sons there that had California rockers, and he wondered if they were from the Sacramento charter.
The only thing I do know for sure is that if we both want to, we'll find a way to make it work.

Hendrix was appreciating the ride with his best friend. If it wasn't for needing to find his twin, he'd enjoy it even more. He tried to appreciate it more after getting the text from his twin saying she was going home to their parents. Since he knew they recently moved to Washington, California, he and Jethro took off to try to catch up with her. It was a beautiful ride at least.
He parked by Jethro at a pump, noticing there were a lot of bikes at that gas station and seeing Sons of Anarchy California kuttes on the majority of the bikers that have been coming in and out of the gas station. He shut his bike off and he got off, removing his helmet and setting it on his seat before stretching himself. He looked over at Jethro and nodded, "Definitely worth a return trip one day when it's better circumstances." He pulled out his phone, not seeing another message from his twin and he sighed. He had no idea if she was riding or not, so he figured he'd just wait until morning to see if she got there or not. She was definitely ahead of them, he just didn't know how far. He looked over at his friend and said, "Let's fuel up and take our pit stop before finding a place to crash. I guess we can ask some of our Cali brothers to find out where we can get beds." He clapped Jethro on the back, ready to get some rest so they could get back on the road. "Hey man! Think the clubhouse has a couple of beds for some brothers visiting?" He asked a Son walking by them. He nodded at him when he gave the address, pulling Waze up on his phone and putting it in. "Thanks man!" He said before looking back at Jethro. "Let's get our pit stop done so we can get some sleep," he said.

aven filled up her bike, then put the cap back on. She put the nozzle back on the pump and got her receipt. She secured her helmet in her saddle bag, and made sure it was locked up. Not that she felt like she needed to with all the sons around, but just in case. She headed inside then, and straight to the restroom. She nodded at a few sons as she passed them. When she came back out she’d talk to one of them to see where the best place to stay the night was somewhere here in Sacramento. She thought about calling her parents, but decided to wait. She’d see them tomorrow she was sure of it. Her twin was the one she really wanted right now. If he was around she’d definitely get some sleep feeling safe with him close.
She finished up her business, and washed her hands. There was a long mirror in there and she pulled up her shirt checking out her bruised and cut side. She’d cut it on something when Tank had hit her the last time and she’d gone crashing to the ground. She’d bandaged it up the best that she could. It probably needed stitches. She opened her backpack and pulled out a clean bandage. She grimaced seeing how it looked, but once she was safe she’d get it checked out. Putting on the new bandage she threw the old one away and pushed her shirt back down, and rearranged her leather jacket. Making sure she had everything she looked in the mirror as she washed her hands. She had no cover up to try and cover the bruises up on her face. She’d look to see if they had any here. When she was done she headed back out just as the door was closing on the men’s restroom across the hall from the women's.

ethro nodded agreeing with Hendrix. “Oh definitely. We can make Have ride with us next time, and really enjoy it.” He grinned at the thought. It had been years since the three of them rode together. He turned to pump his gas and pulled the cap off. Then he put in his debit card and started pumping the gas into his tank. He heard Hendrix asking about a place to stay the night from one of the California sons. At least they had a place to spend the night. He was ready to hit the hay. He heard another son what brought them all the way out here to California.
“Hendrix’s brother is a son up in Washington, California. New charter up there, and we’ve been out here looking for their sister.” He answered the son who nodded at them. He heard him ask if they had found her, but he’d let Hendrix answer that. He turned back watching the money amount going up, before finally stopping when the tank was full. He put the nozzle back on the pump, and got his receipt, before waiting on Hendrix to head inside.
Another son hearing them ask about a place to stay was listening to them. “What brings you boys all the way out here to California?” He asked curiously. He frowned hearing him. “We’ve met Washington at Sturgis. Have you found your sister yet?” He asked, hoping that they had.

Hendrix started to pump his gas after pocketing his phone again and looked over as Jethro spoke to another Son. He shook his head and said, "No, but she said she's heading to Washington, so hopefully we're not too far behind. We'll get there tomorrow though, so hopefully we'll find her soon enough." He finished pumping and replaced his gas cap and looking over at Jethro. "Let's hit the head before heading over to the clubhouse," he told him. He really could use a nice bed for a change. He didn't mind putting the miles on his bike, but the lack of comfortable sleeping arrangements could definitely suck. He walked into the bathroom with Jethro and used it before he went to wash his hands and splash a bit of water on his face to make sure he was good for a minute to find the clubhouse.

aven went to get her some snacks and a couple of bottled waters. Then she headed up to pay. A couple of sons were standing there talking to the women behind the counter. “Excuse me, but I need to find a place to sleep tonight. Are there any good places around?” She asked them, seeing the woman narrow her eyes at her. “I’m on my way to Washington, California. My parents just moved there about a month ago when the new Sons of Anarchy charter was formed there. My brother Crocker is a member there.” She explained to them, and the woman’s expression changed then as she figured it would. “My twin brother is a Son back in Watonga Oklahoma where Crocker was before.” She added on hearing the son.
“You may as well stay at the clubhouse then if your brother is a member.” One of them spoke up taking in the bruises on her face. He was about to say more when a guy walked up behind her, grabbed her by the hair, jerked her back making the stuff in her hands fly, and he stood up straight hearing him.
“You didn’t think you were going to get away from me did you darling?” Tank sneered at Haven holding her to him. “As my old lady you're supposed to obey me.” He growled out, before groaning as she elbowed him in the stomach, but he didn’t let loose of her as she fought against his hold.
“I’m not your old lady you ass!” Haven growled out not planning on letting him take her anywhere. She fought against him trying to get out of his hold.

ethro headed inside with Hendrix. As they were going into the restroom he sniffed the air thinking he smelled Vanilla which reminded him of Haven. She’d always smelled like Vanilla when they were growing up, because she loved the smell of it. He shook his head to clear it as they went in to do their business. When they came back out the Vanilla smell was heavier. “Are you smelling that?” He wondered if someone had used Vanilla freshener in the women’s restroom. Looking around he knew it was wishful thinking that Haven was near. “I need a hot dog.” He said heading to that area, but there was definitely a trail of the Vanilla smell that nearly derailed him.
He grabbed a hot dog off the grill area and fixed it up, before heading to get a bottled water. He heard something going on towards the front of the store then, and frowned. He ignored it for now, picking up a few things in the snack aisle so he’d have something to eat in the room. Then he was heading for the front to pay for his stuff.

Hendrix walked out with Jethro and he inhaled, smelling the vanilla too. "Yeah, I know, but maybe we're just really wanting to find her and the fact we're both tired from the ride today," he suggested as they walked into the gas station and he walked over to look at drinks while Jethro got himself a hot dog. He started to peruse the chips when he heard the commotion and he could've swore he heard his twin's voice saying something about not being an old lady. He shook his head and made his way towards the front, forgetting about the chips for now, to see if there was a douche trying to force a woman. That was something he definitely didn't stand for, having been taught to respect women by his father and Mama Millie.

aven knocked her head back hitting him in the nose. He let out a yell letting go of her, and she turned when his hold on her hair was loose and kicked him in the nuts. She picked up one of the waters and threw a five on the counter as some sons grabbed the guy and drug him outside. One of the sons got her out of there. “Thanks.” She told him seeing they were dragging Tank off. “Yes.” She answered him not to lie when he asked if that asshole had done that to her face. She headed for her bike and tried unlocking her saddle bags, but with her hands shaking now she dropped the keys not once, but twice trying to unlock it. She didn’t fight when the son took the keys from her and unlocked it for her. “Thanks.” She told him, grabbing her helmet.
She didn’t put it on though. “That other Son said I could stay at the clubhouse tonight?” She bit her lip slightly not really wanting to be alone right now either. Though she just wanted to jump on her bike and hightail it out of there heading for Washington. Even if the sun was setting she’d find her way home. The son nodded at her that she could. Slowly she was realizing her head was starting to hurt where she had headbutted the guy. Her side was killing her too after struggling against him so she knew she wasn’t going anywhere. “Thanks.” She told him as she opened the water up and took a drink.

ethro got what he wanted and headed up to the front having heard yelling. He frowned at Hendrix meeting him up there. “Did we miss something?” He saw stuff on the floor as he put his things on the counter. He looked at the woman behind the counter who said a girl was grabbed and she fought him. The sons were taking care of him then. His eyebrows shot up when the woman said the girl said she had a brother that was a son in Washington, and a brother in Oklahoma that was one as well. He looked at Hendrix. He paid for his stuff when it was rang up, and she had it sacked up.
Milt one of the sons had told her she could stay at the clubhouse tonight was what they were told. He grabbed his sack and waited for Hendrix to pay. The woman handed Hendrix a five asking them to give it back to the girl if they saw her that she'd take care of the water that the girl had gotten. Said they wouldn’t be able to miss her with the bruises on her face. Though she was probably outside still while the guys took care of the guy who had grabbed the poor girl. The woman behind the counter introduced herself as Kay and she was an old lady to Milt.

Hendrix put his drink, having given up on a bag of chips. He really wanted sleep more than anything at this point, so he was fine without eating. He'd just eat breakfast for sure before they headed out for the remainder of the drive. He handed over cash for his drink and took the $5 bill the woman was handing him and telling them about giving it back to the woman that was supposed to be staying at the clubhouse there were going to be staying at and that she had bruises on her face. He blinked before looking at Jethro and then bolting out of the gas station to find his sister. It had to be her.

aven nodded at the son that said they’d wait for the other guys to head back to the clubhouse. She didn’t care what they did to Tank. though her brothers would probably be upset if they didn’t get their hits in on him, but then she really wasn’t wanting to tell them what had happened to her either. She was antsy even though she was hurting, and she needed to move. So she walked around a bit, and went around the pumps across from where the one she used was. She looked at a couple of bikes sitting there looking them over. She’d always loved to look at bikes. Guess it was from growing up with her brothers and how crazy they were over their own.
She frowned as she stopped short, aware of the son that was sticking close to her in case of trouble. What made her stop though was the tags on the two bikes. She knew those bikes. Ones that she had ridden on when she was younger. Walking the few steps to them she ran her hand over one of them knowing it was her twins. She looked at the other that had to be Jethro’s. She looked around for them wondering if they were really here or she was just imagining this after what had just happened.

ethro frowned as Hendrix took off out of the convenience store. The woman frowned watching him run out without his drink. When she said the girl also said that the one from Oklahoma was a twin to her he knew it had to be Haven. He grabbed Hendrix’s drink and rushed out after him. “Where is she man?” He asked looking around not seeing her anywhere. “It has to be her!” He said, shaking his head. Was she going to be out of their grasp just like that forever he wondered knowing she wouldn’t be, but they did need to find her.
He walked out by the pumps and his eyes fell on a cherry red bike. The tag said California, but then she did live in California. “Drix!” He called out to his best friend pointing out the bike. He ran his hand over the gas tank at the top where there was a cross painted on the bike with the twin’s mother’s name as well as his own family written around the cross as a memorial. They’d have had to walk right by it going inside! How could they have missed it? he wondered, hoping she was still around here somewhere..

Hendrix stopped trying to scan all of the people for his twin. He'd recognize her right away, but he wasn't seeing her. He shook his head hearing Jethro and he started to walk towards the pumps, trying to figure out where she went. Jethro went towards other pumps, he supposed instinctually fanning out to cover more ground. He spun around and ran to Jethro hearing him yell for him. He stopped short seeing the bike and he spun around trying to see his twin. "Haven!" He yelled out, knowing she had to be nearby. "HAVEN!" He yelled even louder as he started to walk through the pumps, but then he stopped and saw her. "Haven!" He yelled out to her, seeing the girl looking over his bike. It had to be her.
