[smear:#1975e6]Every night in my dreams I see you, I feel you That is how I know you go on Far across the distance And spaces between us You have come to show you go on Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on Once more, you open the door And you're here in my heart And my heart will go on and on Love can touch us one time And last for a lifetime And never let go 'til we're gone Love was when I loved you One true time I'd hold to In my life, we'll always go on Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on (why does the heart go on?) Once more, you open the door And you're here in my heart And my heart will go on and on You're here, there's nothing I fear And I know that my heart will go on We'll stay forever this way You are safe in my heart and My heart will go on and on[/smear:#9119e6:0]

History
It was a surprisingly cool day on September 1st the year we were born. Mom was at home alone with her father, uncle and brothers out doing club stuff. She was enjoying the peaceful time by herself and in the kitchen cleaning up from breakfast. She was humming away when she felt the first vibration. She stilled and quieted frowning and shook her head as if to clear it, before going on with what she was doing. The second vibration was a few minutes later and stronger than the last. She held onto the counter and frowned hoping they didn't get any bigger. She felt like a whale carrying twins and just starting into her ninth month. She said she loved every minute of being pregnant though she could have done without the morning sickness in the beginning.
She was reaching up putting a pan on the hook when a bigger earthquake struck. She gasped when the foundation was rocking and cupboards were opening and closing. She grabbed a hold of the counter to support herself, but something hit her in the head knocking her out. She came to a little while later laying on the kitchen floor. Her head was killing her. She tried to sit up, but she couldn't. She'd been having to have help just to get out of bed in the mornings and sometimes just standing up. Reaching up she felt her forehead which felt wet, and when she looked at her hand there was blood on it. It was then that she felt her water breaking, and it felt like she was peeing. Though it could have been either she guessed. It was too early to be going into labor though. She let out a scream then feeling the first pain shoot through her. She felt for her phone in her pocket, but it wasn't there. Looking around she saw it a few feet away. She tried to turn to crawl to it, but pain shot through her and she let out another scream.
How long she laid there she didn't know, but she was helpless as big as she was and in a world of pain. When she heard her name being cried out all she could do was scream in pain. Her brothers, father, and uncle were suddenly there, most of them cursing as they found her. She felt herself being lifted up, and carried into her father's room. She heard them say there was no time to get to the hospital. It was about a half hour later that she had her first baby and another fifteen minutes later that I came into this world. My twin brother was named Draco Thorn and I was named Orion Michael Thomas. We got our last name from our father, but he wasn't in the picture. Our first names we were named after our Mother's favorite constellations. She loved sitting out under the stars with her telescope and seeing into the stars. An ambulance was called and we were taken to the hospital with our mother where she was treated for her injuries. We spent a few days in the hospital, but even being born three weeks early we were healthy and normal.
Growing up we had plenty of father figures, but it just wasn't the same as having an actual father like our friends. We both asked questions about him. Mom never told us his name, but she told us about him. He was special to her, but she told us he didn't know anything about us. She was selfish and wanted to keep us all to herself. We did know that he was a Son of Anarchy and that he was a nomad. She never showed us a picture of him either, and we didn't even know if she had one to be honest. So the only thing we really knew was his last name that she had given to us. The way she talked about him he was almost like a superhero to me growing up. Never did she ever say a bad thing about him. Nor did our grandfather and uncles. They all thought highly of him. She told us we both picked up a lot of his characteristics. She did tell us he'd been through a lot of heartbreak in his life. He'd become a nomad because his parents and baby sister that he had called Candy Cane died in an accident. It had been too hard for him to stay in New York after that. I couldn't imagine losing my twin Draco. He was my best friend, and I hopefully was his.
We did almost everything together, and once in a while mom dressed us alike. Sometimes we pretended to be one another having fun with that. Our family always saw right through that charade though. They knew us inside and out. Our uncles had built a dirt bike course on the ranch we had, and we were on dirtbikes by the time we were three. Mom had fits seeing how fast we would fly through that course. You could find us out there more often than not from the early morning hours to late at night. Barely taking time for a sandwich or something when we got hungry. By the time we were six we were competing in Motocross. Our uncles would take us. Mom went one time, and never went again. She stayed away from the track afraid to watch us.
Our family was constantly holding parties, BBQ's and other things during the holidays and just whenever with the whole Rahway, New Jersey Sons of Anarchy and their families attending. We were all one big family most of the time. Though in the last couple of years there's been less tension within the ranks. Our grandfather and uncles don't talk about it. Even friendships with our friends are estranged sort of now. I didn't understand it, but asking got us nowhere and further confused in what was going on. Change isn't always good I don't think. Members have been leaving the charter moving to others as well. I just went about living the best I could. When our family was together it was always a good time still. I couldn't imagine not having them all around.
Bonfires in the evenings became a habit for us with my uncles or grandfather singing, and sometimes mom. My twin and I would join in singing or sing a song by ourselves. To me our family was perfect, and I loved every minute we spent together. My mom and uncles taught me how to play guitar when I was younger, and I usually bring my guitar that used to be one of my grandpa's old ones with me. Even when we go places when I know where there will be dancing and singing. The guitar is one of my most cherished possessions. I may come from old money, but I've worked hard for what I've gotten and not one of those spoiled brats like some of our friends.
Going into junior high school I started to play sports. I was definitely a team player, and I have to admit not that bad. In junior high we got to try all of the sports, but by the time we got to high school I was down to football, basketball and baseball. Those three were definitely my favorites. I was a starter in all three of the sports my freshman year. This summer we went to Sturgis and joined the jr rally. Both my twin and I are sporting Raleigh Jr club kuttes. I declined an office figuring that I would be an officer one day when I became a son. All of my uncles were officers. My uncle Granger was the president, Uncle Morgan the VP and Uncle Josh the Road Captain. My grandfather and Uncle had been the pres and VP before them.
We'd had fun at Sturgis even with all the shit that had gone down. Mom had stayed home saying she'd been there one too many times now, and she was getting old. Somehow I didn't think being thirty-seven was all that old, but what do I know. We've only been home about a week. Mom was worried about something, and I could hear her arguing with gramps and my uncles, but if Draco or I walked in they'd be all happy and go lucky again. Today Draco and I went to town and had ice cream with what friends we still had. None of us when we talked about it knew what was going on with our families. We took our dirt bikes on the backroads. We only lived a couple of miles out of town.
When we got home our gramps and uncle's bikes were still in the same place they'd been earlier. They were supposed to have been gone by now to some kind of a meeting. It was eerily quiet as we entered the house. We went in finding the first blood stains on the floor in the living room. It looked like someone had crawled or something across it towards the kitchen. Going around the couch where the trail went I stopped short in horror seeing my great uncle Trevor laying there in a pool of blood. His eyes were open and you could tell he was gone. I looked around in horror looking at my twin seeing blood stains on the walls then. Going on into the kitchen we found our grandfather, Uncle Granger and Uncle Morgan then laying in pools of blood. Blood was everywhere splattered around the kitchen.
We found our mom next and I bawled seeing she was gone. Who could have done this I wondered? I was sobbing when I heard someone gasp out our names. Going around the island we found our Uncle Josh. He was bleeding out from more than one wound, but still alive. I remember dropping down beside him my jeans soaking up the blood that was still pooling there. "Listen to me." He got out trying to breathe. "In the safe there is money and cards with your names on them. Along with letters to the both of you and to your father. Find him by calling the name on the card there. In the back garage are your birthday presents. Hurry and get what you need, and run! Don't let them catch you. Trust no one...not even our club here. I love both of you.'' He was starting to gag on blood by the end and blood was trickling out of his mouth. Then he was gone the life going out of him. I was crying even harder now.
A few moments later Draco was up on his feet and grabbing me and we went to the office. I was shaking, not able to believe what we had just walked into. Draco got the safe open and he pulled out everything that he saw and grabbed a bag putting it all in. Next we went to our room and grabbed a few changes of clothes, shoving it into our bags. I looked at a picture on the bedside table that was all of us together. I grabbed it and shoved it in my bag. Quickly I changed clothes leaving the others discarded by my bed on the floor. I had my riding boots on wondering what our birthday present was in the garage, but expecting we'd take our dirt bikes to get away. Get away from who I had no idea, but we had to run as we were told. I was running out the door after my twin after grabbing our bags, when I went back and grabbed my guitar case. It had a strap I could put around me to ride as it was made for me by my Uncle Morgan.
We made it to the back garage and went in. I was still crying, but I froze seeing the two brand new Harley's sitting there with big matching bows on them. One was red and the other green so we definitely knew which one got what. I looked at Draco sniffling and wiping my tears away with the back of my hand. We were both sporting our kuttes, and our leather jackets were in our bags. I went straight to the red one and Draco to the green one and we shoved our bags in the saddle bags. Taking a deep breath I went over to open the door and I saw something move. "Drac we aren't alone." I whispered to him seeing one of the Rahway charter looking around with a gun in his hand. Another one came out of the house. "The boys should be back here by now. There's bloody clothes upstairs. We need to take care of them and get out of here." He called out to a few more that showed. I paled drastically hearing him. The Sons had betrayed their family, and now they were looking for them to kill them. A couple of them were their best friends' dads. He took an unsteady breath.
We got the bows off of our brand new bikes, and pushed them out the backway through just the regular door. We went through the trees and pushed them about a half a mile before getting to a gate to a off road. Opening it we pushed our bikes out and only started them then. It felt good to feel the rolling thunder between my legs. Our uncles would let us ride with them if we went to town with them, but out here on the ranch we learned how to control the bigger and heavier bikes by riding theirs. Our mom even had her own Harley. We were a couple of miles away when I looked back and there was smoke rising from where our home was. I sucked in my breath realizing they were burning our place down to get rid of the evidence. At least we had grabbed what meant most to us. I reached back and touched my guitar case that my Uncle Morgan had made for me out of leather he had tanned. My grandfather's guitar he had given me cradled inside of it. More than glad I had grabbed it.
We took off then after watching the smoke rising for a bit headed where we didn't know. We stopped in a town miles away filling up when our tanks which had been filled were almost empty. It was then that we called the number on a business card we had found. Thorn Michael Thomas is your father was written on the back of the card. My twin and I looked at one another realizing our middle names were our father's names. We knew we had been given his last name. I let Draco call too nervous to do so wondering if our father would be on the other end of that call or someone else. While on the call Draco's voice broke and he started to sob. I turned away as the tears were coming to me too, feeling the same way he was. I was definitely scared as well. We'd never been this far alone on our own. It didn't feel right. Hell nothing was right.
I listened to him talking and when he hung up he said to look for answers in Washington, California. I looked up at a sign that said we were in Washington New Jersey thinking it was really weird that we were told to go to another state with the same name as the town there. Getting on our phones we looked it up to see where we would be going. All the while I was crying just wanting my mom. I wanted to wake up from this nightmare and just walk into the house over again and everything back to how it was before. That wasn't going to happen though, and we needed to keep going. Before those wanting to kill us picked up our trail. So we got back on our bikes and headed west to our destination that was going to take days. Though the sun was setting now, we decided it would be better for us to travel at night so we didn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Rayne sat away from the others somewhat. As it seemed like everyone was paired off but for him. Or they were with their friends. They’d been back from Sturgis for only a few days, and his dad, Rowdy, and Cain were throwing a bash at their place to try and take off some of the stress from what the trip had been. The Oklahoma boys and his dad, and Cain were taking turns getting up on the stage and singing. Oh and even Clyde had gotten up and sang. Their kids called out songs for them to sing, and they’d pick one from one of them. Of course his dad hadn’t asked him. It was mainly his baby brothers and once in a while Rafe or Ryder would yell out one.
Sturgis hadn’t really been any fun and he and his brothers had never gotten that tattoo that he designed. With all hell breaking loose everyone was on high alert the next week so his father and brothers had forgotten about it. He’d slept off and on that next week after what had happened to him. At least the stitches had gotten taken out finally so he didn’t have that discomfort. Though it still aches some, and Stephanie had said it probably would for some time as hard as he had been hit. It itched and bothered him, but he refrained from messing with it not wanting to get it infected as it was healing. The bruises were still there, but not as bad as they had been.
His dad’s attention today was either on Rosanna or his baby brothers most of the time. Feeling tired and left out he got up to head inside to his room. Rafe and Ryder’s attention was on their new found girlfriends. His gaze fell on Athena then who was talking to some of the other kids in the Jr Club, and there were a couple of guys that she was laughing and having fun with. He felt a pang in his heart, and weaved in and out of people to head inside. A stray tear ran down his cheek as he got inside, and he quickly brushed it away. He hissed in his breath at the pain when he had forgotten a moment about his wound. With a deep breath he headed up the stairs when he came up on them.
It wasn’t that much of a walk down the hallway to his room. The pounding of the music and the roar of the crowd outside was inside the house too, and it was giving him a headache. So all he wanted to do was lay down and take a nap. Opening his door a sound caught his attention. Looking up he gasped as there were a couple of guys in the room with their girls having fun on his bed as well as Simon’s bed. He gaped in shock for a few moments, before turning bright red not knowing what to do. He jumped when one of them yelled at him to get out. Quickly he ducked out his head pounding even more and realized then that he wasn’t alone upstairs as he saw others in the hallways too.
Looking up and down the hallways he noticed people going in and out of the theater rooms too. Walking down to his dad’s room he thought he might find some relief in there, but his dad must have locked his door. He tried Rowdy’s and Cain’s finding both of them locked. There was nowhere to go he realized, and he headed back down stairs trying not to cry. That wouldn’t look good in front of the sons around. There was a lot that he had no idea who they were. Including the ones that had been in his room having fun. Feeling lost and really left out he turned at the stairs and a drunk son knocked into him knocking him down. He saw stars when his head hit the corner of a baseboard. Laughter was heard, and then they ignored him. Sitting up he held his hand to his head, and when he pulled away there was blood on his head.
He cringed as his head was killing him even more now. Pulling himself up he hears something crash and shatter somewhere. His vision was a little blurry now, and he felt the blood trickling down his forehead. There had to be somewhere that he could go, and he thought of the garage. Making his way down that way he put the code into the door knowing it had been locked up for the party. His dad was taking any chances with his panhead with someone messing with it. Once the door shut behind him the sound was suddenly gone as the garage seemed to be soundproof. His ears were ringing though from the never ending sound from before.
With an unsteady breath he made his way over to his bike not even fighting the tears now. Sitting on it he laid his head down against the cool gas tank and the sobs came unable to stop them. He wasn’t feeling good at all, and when he lifted his head a while later there was a lot of blood on his bike. Had to be from where he had hit his head. A ride might help him feel better was his thoughts, and he got off pushing his bike out a side door, and around some bikes getting on his bike after making sure the garage was locked back up. If it wasn’t his dad, Rowdy, and Cain not to mention the others with bikes in there would kill him.
Starting his bike he rode down the driveway with the guards not even looking twice at him as there were sons and jr club members coming right and left. Tears were still streaming down his cheeks and there was still blood trickling down so his vision was still a bit blurred. Right now he didn’t care, he just had to get away, and hopefully clear his head. His dad and brothers as well as the others would probably never even notice he was gone. They were having too much fun. A while later he realized that the ride wasn’t helping, and he stopped not even knowing where he was. He hadn’t been this way yet. Only the other direction into town. The throbbing in his head was even worse, and all he wanted was his dad right now.
Turning his bike around he tried to wipe the tears away and the blood, but it wasn’t helping much. With a deep breath he headed back. With his vision obscured, he didn’t see the cloud of dust coming down a dirt road not far away. When he turned on the next road thinking he was going in the right direction the car came out of nowhere. Unable to stop he ran right into it, and he was suddenly flying through the air. The impact of hitting the road knocked him out.
