aven ran her hand over the leather of her twin’s seat. The bike was still warm so it hadn’t been there long. Her head shot up hearing her name being yelled. She whirled around and her eyes fell on Hendrix. She forgot to breathe for a moment hoping he wasn’t just a figment of her imagination. “Drix!” She gasped out frozen where she was. She hadn’t seen him in a couple of years unfortunately because of her busy schedule she had gotten herself into. Her twin though, she could pick out of anyone in a crowd as well as she knew him. She felt her eyes swell up with unshed tears.
Finally she forced herself to move forgetting about the son that was sticking with her and not far away. She ran to her twin, throwing herself in his arms. “It really is you Drix!” She sobbed into him. She inhaled his scent and felt like she was already home. The guard she kept up around her shattered the moment she had seen him. How could she have stayed away from him this long she wondered as she was miserable without him. She couldn’t remember the last time she had been truly happy. Sure she had loved her job and enjoyed her students, but had she really had a life she wondered.

ethro watched Hendrix run off yelling for Haven. He looked back at the cross feeling the sting of that day in his past all over again. The day she had shown him that she put the names of his family down by her own mothers that had been there when his own family had been alive was bittersweet. His head shot up hearing someone yell out for Hendrix, and he looked over just in time to see Haven launch herself at Hendrix. He sighed in relief seeing that it was her. Walking over and around the pumps he let them have their moment as he put his food into his saddle bag as well as Hendrix’s drink.
He sat on his bike then just watching his best friends reunion noticing the other son looking between them. “She’s his twin sister.” He told the guy who nodded at him. He thought about what the woman had said, and looked at the other son. “Why don’t you go ask your friends to save us a piece of that guy? I know I want to give him a piece of my mind.” He had lowered his voice. The son nodded at him, and headed off around the side of the building to go do just that.

Hendrix looked at her and when she came running to him, he scooped her in his arms, hugging her. "Jesus Christ, Have! We've been looking for you! We just got back from looking in Mexico when I got your text that you were going home to Mama and Dad!" He held her to him for a moment before letting her go just enough to pull back and look at her, seeing how bruised she looked. "Who the fuck did that to you?" He asked her, his tone changing quick, but not that he was pissed at her, pissed at whoever could touch her like that.

aven frowned hearing her twin as she controlled her sobs. Just letting tears go now. “Mexico? Why would you look for me there?” She asked him, a bit shocked. She grimaced when he pushed her back, and looked her over. She sighed. “The sons drug him around the side of the building.” She admitted to him. “I didn’t know he was bad news or the one stalking me when I started seeing him.” She’d always had the worst of luck with guys. When she was younger though her brothers had been there to make sure she steered clear of guys like the one she had just been with.
“His name is Tank, and he was just so sweet in the beginning.” She could never lie to her twin. There was just something about him that she usually poured it all out to him. Had been that way since her first heartache with a boy. Her first love, but not her first kiss. Her first kiss had been Jethro on a dare from his older brother in front of her own brothers. Which she had definitely taken.

ethro frowned as he heard the change in Hendrix’s voice, and looked back over at them. He got up moving over to see for himself as well. “Hello Haven.” He greeted her seeing her eyes dart to him then back to Hendrix. He let out a growl seeing how bad she looked. Noticing something on her shirt he leaned in and pulled it up seeing the bloodied bandage that was half torn off. He hissed in his breath. “You need that looked at.” He shook his head as she pushed his hand away. He stepped back then and looked between her and Hendrix.
“I asked the son that was with her to go make sure they left something of the guy for us.” He commented mainly to Hendrix. Though once Hendrix got done with him there wouldn’t be anything left he knew. He’d heard what she had said about the guy too, and known she’d gone down the rabbit hole this time.

Hendrix shook his head and before he could answer her question about why he was in Mexico looking for her, he was already looking at her and asking her about who hurt her. He looked down where Jethro exposed a bloody bandage that was half torn off. He growled hearing his twin about a man name Tank. That was the name, or rather nickname, the man that sent them to Mexico introduced himself as. He looked over at Jethro, more than pissed hearing him. "Where the fuck did they take him?" He asked, going to kill him himself. He passed Haven over to Jethro as he looked around, seeing a small group looking around a corner by the gas station and headed that way. He knew Jethro would keep Haven safe. He wanted to kill whoever touched his twin in any harmful way.

aven frowned, taking a deep breath watching her twin go after he handed her off to Jethro. She let Jethro pull her into his arms holding her. She laid her head on his shoulder feeling right at home there. Not as much as she did in Hendrix’s arms, but the same as she felt in Crocker’s arms. She silently cried into him, but couldn’t stop the little laugh that escaped her when he said they thought they were hallucinating thinking they were smelling her. “I missed you too Jeth! I don’t want to go back to Carmel. I want to be where you guys are now. It’s been too long without either of you or the rest of the family.” She took an unsteady breath.
She wasn't sure about going back to Watonga. It had been over ten years since she had actually lived there. She’d made California her home. Their parents were here in California now in Washington. She couldn’t wait to be held by her father again in his strong arms that she’d always felt protected in the shelter of. To have her mother hovering over her again making sure she was alright, and feeling safe in their presence. She didn’t want to miss out on any more of her nephews growing up either. She wanted all of her family back together, and most of them were in Washington now.

ethro pointed in the direction the son had disappeared that had been with Haven. When Hendrix passed Haven over to him he wrapped his arms around her holding her to him. “We thought we were hallucinating when we were in the store smelling vanilla and thinking it was you.” He whispered to her as he inhaled her scent. He was going to keep her safe till Hendrix got back, that was for sure. “I’ve missed you Haven. Watonga just wasn’t the same all these years without you there.” Her presence had been more than missed between him and Hendrix. He grinned hearing her laugh.
He frowned hearing she didn’t want to go back to Carmel knowing she had loved the place. Going back to Watonga would be on the agenda now that was for sure after finding her, but did they really have a life back there to go to now he wondered. Willie and Mama Millie had moved out here where Crocker was with his family. They were his family now. All of them. They’d made sure of that after he lost his own family. He’d have to talk to Hendrix later to see how he felt about going back to Watonga. “That would be great to have you around!” He held her tight to him knowing she was crying.

Hendrix was pissed when he saw the guy that was being dealt with. "Mexico, huh?" He asked. He cracked his knuckles, ready to just kill the guy already. "Think I wasn't going to find out?" He continued before he started to beat the shit out of the guy. He didn't care how tired he was, the fact that he found Haven gave him a surge of adrenaline. Thankfully, it was Sons around him, so he wasn't going to be shy on how much to dish out to Tank. He was beating him even after he knocked him out. No one was stopping him either.

aven went with Jethro when he headed over to his bike sitting down, and then he pulled her back into his arms. She wasn’t going to argue when she felt safe for the first time in a long time. She knew Jethro turned a lot of girl’s heads, and she thought he was cute. It didn’t go any further than that though as he was a brother to her. Growing up together and then the tragedy with his family had brought him closer to their family. So that was the only way she thought of him was family. Always would. Feeling something in her hand she realized she was still holding her water. It was a wonder she hadn’t dropped it with seeing her twin.

ethro looked around, seeing a few sons watching them, but he really didn’t care. He wrapped an arm around her and led her over to his bike as he sat on it sideways and pulled her back to him holding her. He knew Hendrix might be a bit, and the asswipe would be more than taken care of. “When we get to the clubhouse I can patch that up for you and put something on it.” He referred to her wound as he was worried about it. She’d have to wait till they got to Washington to get it stitched up if it needed stitches. That he definitely couldn’t do.

Hendrix beat the shit out of Tank for a bit before he finally pulled his knife out and said, not caring if the guy, who was knocked out could hear him or not, "That was for the way my sister looks like. You touch her, you get much worse." He grabbed Tank's shirt and cut the fabric to expose his chest before he started to drive his knife into areas he knew Tank wouldn't be able to survive getting stabbed in. He calculated the exact spot to stab the guy in the guy before he took it out and rammed it into Tank's chest, right where the heart would be. "And that's to make sure you won't find your way back to her with any thoughts of treating her like shit again," he said before wiping his knife off on Tank's pants before putting it back in his sheathe. He looked over and said, "I'll clean up if I need to." He looked at another that spoke up saying they'd be happy to take care of it and he nodded and said, "Thanks. Sorry about leaving this with you though." He nodded at the Son before he headed back to Jethro and Haven.
He made eye contact with Jethro as he walked up on them, time having passed while he was busy taking care of Tank, silently saying he definitely took care of things before he took his twin's hand with a smile. "Let's get you patched up and some sleep so we can get home," he told her. He'd do worse things for his twin if she asked or needed it done, so he didn't even bat an eye when it came to taken out her trash of an ex.

aven looked up at her twin when he walked back up. When he took her hand she lightly squeezed his back more than grateful she was back with him. “Jethro just told me he’d patch it up for me when we got to the clubhouse and put something on it. That I could do without.” She grimaced knowing it would hurt. She’d definitely been avoiding that. She straightened up off of Jethro’s lap practically where she had been sitting and hugged her twin. She didn’t ask about Tank figuring that she wouldn’t have to worry about him ever again thanks to Hendrix. Right now she just wanted some sleep. Now that she feels safe again she might actually get a good night’s rest.

ethro saw the look that Hendrix gave him and gave him a slight nod knowing he had taken care of the asshole. He noticed some son’s getting onto their bikes and one of them said when they were ready they could lead them to the clubhouse. He let her go when she straightened up and hugged Hendrix. Though she was still there right in front of him so he couldn’t stand up if he wanted. He didn’t mind though, and he shook his head hearing her. She could take the hits or get scraped up, he remembered with them growing up, but anything put on those scrapes or cuts and she was a big baby.

Hendrix nodded and said, “No, you need to let him do that, Have.” He looked over and nodded at the Son. “Come on, so I can message Mama and Dad that Jeth and I found you finally and we’ll see them tomorrow,” he told her, knowing that was going to be the first thing he did once they were settled in at the clubhouse. He led Haven to her bike. “Jeth and I will stick right by you. I don’t want you out of my sight for a while,” he told her, knowing Jethro would definitely agree with that.
