aven growled at Jethro as he sprayed more of it on her, still cursing at him. She held off from hitting him again though. She frowned when he pulled his gloves off and went into the bathroom that they luckily had in their room, and he washed his hands. When he came back out he put another pair of gloves on and bandaged up the wound. “How about we not!” She shot right back at him, and glared when he just laughed. She let him help her sit up though and she sighed watching him grab his stuff and go around to her brother. She grabbed her water and took a drink as she was thirsty. Then opened her bag and pulled out the bag of Funyuns and one of the Slim Jim. It was the Nacho one. She had a Teriyaki one and an original one. Opening the small bag of chips she pulled one out and ate it.

ethro put more of the spray on, before he took the gloves off and went and washed his hands. He came back out and put another pair of gloves on and bandaged her up. “We’ll do that again in the morning.” He told her, and just laughed when she shot back at him. He helped her sit up then against the headboard. “Eat now girly.” He grinned at her grabbing his bag as well as Hendrix’s drink, and he moved over to the side of the bed by Hendrix. Handing the drink to Hendrix he pulled out one of the hot dogs he got and handed it to him, before grabbing the other one and he started to eat.

Hendrix couldn't help but smile and chuckle at Jethro and Haven's interaction. He hated that she was hurt, but at least the banter was there. He nodded at Jethro as he took the drink and then raised an eyebrow when he handed over a hot dog. "Thanks, Jeth," he said a little sheepishly because he didn't actually by himself food when he was distracted by the outburst at the gas station. Then he remembered, "Oh, yeah, Haven. The girl at the counter said to give this back to you and not to worry about it." He pulled out the $5 bill he shoved in his pocket earlier and stood up and moved over to his twin to hand it to her.

aven took a bite of her Funyun and looked up at Hendrix. “She didn’t have to do that.” She sighed taking the five, and shoved it in her pocket though. She frowned, finishing off the Funyun. Even after so many years it seemed like the three of them were falling back into the groove that they once had. “Are you two going back to Wantonga?” She asked not even realizing she was going to. It was in the back of her mind though eating at her. Both of them still had Oklahoma rockers on. She was pretty sure their older brother Crocker was sporting a California rocker.

ethro was eating his hot dog, and frowned when he heard Haven’s question. Raising an eyebrow he looked up at Hendrix. It was what he had planned on talking about. Not at the moment, but in the next few days. He didn’t say anything though wanting to know what Hendrix thought about it, before he voiced his two cents. For him he thought moving here to a new place with the adopted family he had would be the best bet instead of going back to Watonga where everywhere he looked he was reminded of his family long gone. From what he had looked up on the net about Washington seemed like a good place as anywhere else. Point was it would be home wherever Haven and Hendrix were.

Hendrix shrugged. She definitely didn't need to, but she did and he was just there and a little taken aback at her saying to give the money to her. He blinked when she asked if he was going back to Watonga. "Uh, I don't now. When Jeth and I left, Mama and Dad were still in Watonga," he said. He hadn't even thought really about moving, but he wouldn't be opposed to it either. He looked over at Jethro for a moment.

aven looked between the two guys and frowned. “I got fired from my job because of all of this. I have an offer for a job at the new school in Washington. Satori’s uncle is going to be the principal there.” She told them knowing it would come out sooner or later that she had gotten fired. She paled slightly as she heard Jethro. She couldn’t even imagine the horror he still felt over that day. She still remembered hearing the gunshots from where they lived. It had chilled her to the bone when she had realized where they were coming from.

ethro finished off his hot dog and opened his bottled water and took a drink. “I was going to talk to you later about it.” He looked at Haven then back to Hendrix. “I go wherever you go, and to be honest I probably need a fresh start. Instead of a memory popping up everywhere I go in Watonga taking me back to that day.” He admitted not saying what day knowing that they would definitely know what he was talking about. Hendrix was the only one who knew that day still haunted him in his dreams. Maybe moving was the best idea he figured.

Hendrix sighed when he heard his twin lost her job. "Well, they're fucking morons for letting you go. And don't worry about Tank anymore, he won't be bothering you from now on," he told her. He looked at Jethro and nodded at his admission. "Then we're going to be moving to Washington," he told him, not afraid to make that decision, especially when his twin was going to be there too. He also didn't blame Jethro for wanting that fresh start. "The weather seems better out here anyway," he said with a shrug.

aven had already figured out that she didn’t have to worry about Tank, but she didn’t say anything. “If you guys did want to go back to Watonga I’m sure I could get a job there, but I’ve missed this. The three of us. When I think about it I didn’t have a life really. I thought it was ideal at first, but it’s not home. Because home is where my family is.” She admitted feeling a little teary eyed now. There was no way she’d go back to that after even being with her brother and Jethro for this short time. Being with them felt right.

ethro looked between the twins and nodded. “I do like the weather here, but isn’t Washington in the mountains? We’ve only been on the coastline.” He had been wondering about that. He grinned at Haven. “We’ve missed you too. I know your twin here really has.” He ratted him out. If it were anyone else but Haven he’d never rat Hendrix out. “We all need a fresh start, and not back in Watonga. Most of the guys we hang out with are in Washington now. Sure we’re leaving a few behind, but your parents are there now and so is Crocker. Mabel’s family is there too. We’re part of that family that came here.” He dug into his bag and pulled out a snickers bar to eat.

Hendrix moved to sit next to his twin, perching on the edge of the bed and faced her. He shot a glare at Jethro for ratting him out, but a smirk played at the corner of his mouth showing he wasn't really mad at Jethro. He really didn't think he and Jethro ever fought. Maybe an argument over mundane things growing up, but nothing to where they were angry with each other. He looked back at Haven and said, "Jethro's right. Our family is in Washington. And the coast still isn't that far away compared to Oklahoma, so the weather is going to be even better no matter what," he was looking at Jethro for that comment, before continuing as he looked back at Haven, "And with family is where I'd rather be. They're in Washington now." He sighed and said, "I better message Mama and Dad that you're safe and we'll see them tomorrow. And I know, I know," he looked over at Jethro again, "I'm gonna eat." He got back up and moved back to where he set his hot dog and water, pulling out his phone to shoot the text. "Haven is safe with Jeth and I. We'll all see you tomorrow. Love you," he sent before putting his phone down and taking a bite of the hot dog.

aven smiled at her twin hearing him. She opened her slim jim and took a bite of it, happy and content for right now. She couldn’t wait to see her parents again. Things were looking up again. She took another bite of her slim jim. “This will be good for all of us. I hated missing Judge and Lawson growing up. Hopefully you two haven’t corrupted them.” She smirked at the guys knowing they probably had their fun with Crocker and his boys. She couldn’t wait to see them either. Facetime had been awhile with the boys and Mabel as well as Crocker when he was around. Mabel always made sure to send school pics as well as family ones to her.
Millie was helping Mabel finish up cleaning the kitchen. Crocker and Willie were sitting outside the kitchen door which was wide open fishing with the boys. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and smiled, feeling tears of happiness welling up in her eyes. “They found her! Hendrix says Haven is safe with him and Jethro! He says they will see us tomorrow!” She was practically yelling it out in her happiness so the boys outside could hear her. She heard whoops from Judge and Lawson. The girls were watching a movie in the living room.

ethro smirked at Hendrix when he glared at him. “Washington it is! I don’t know if I could survive without Mama Millie’s cooking. It’s been too long already.” He huffed out a breath at the thought. He smirked at Haven. “Well somebody had to teach them all the bad stuff we got into as kids.” They hadn’t really dared to not wanting Mabel on their asses about it or Crocker getting after them. Though they had taught them a few things. He devoured his snicker bar and reached in pulling out a big bag of Doritos Nacho chips, setting them where Hendrix could help himself as well.
Mabel smiled hearing Millie. “That’s the best news we’ve had in a long time! We’ll have to find somewhere for them to stay.” Millie and Willie’s home which was practically in their backyard only had the one bedroom, and with the girls here all the rooms were taken up now in their house.

Hendrix smirked at his twin before looking over at Jethro. "And we only taught them that so they didn't repeat our stupidity," he agreed with his best friend. He finished his hot dog and added, "And I agree, it's been way too long for a really good meal. We'll leave first thing in the morning so maybe we can at least get a good lunch and dinner for the day. You know she'll be planning on making sure we eat well."
Willie looked over at his wife and grinned. "That's great news, darlin'!" He exclaimed. He shrugged hearing Crocker though. That was definitely true. "I don't see why not. Those Astor men do love to deal in real estate it seems," he commented.
Crocker looked over at his mom and shrugged, "They'll have a space at the hotel until the Astors take it upon themselves to make sure they have more than what they need with a home somewhere close by." He was glad that they found Haven. He had been worried about her too after hearing Hendrix comment that he hadn't heard from her in a while. "And I already got their transfer papers ready if they want to transfer here, which I don't see why they wouldn't want to. They know about what went on in Watonga, right?"
